Accessibility and Transport

Shawbury Medical Practice welcomes people with disabilities and this statement has been developed to address the more common issues that people with a disability may face.

We constantly strive to improve accessibility to all our patients and welcome your comments and thoughts.

We endeavour to treat all our patients with any disability or impairment equally according to their needs, within the restraints of our buildings.

The practice is situated on Poynton Road. You may alight and unload in front of the practice. Disabled parking is available.

Patient entry to the practice is through the front entrance with ramp access from the car park and the entrance has electric sliding.

Access to the reception, waiting room, toilets and consulting rooms is possible with a wheelchair.

An accessible toilet is located in the entrance lobby area, with level access and is fitted with an alarm.

The entire practice is non-smoking.

Guide dogs are welcome.

Smoke detectors, alarms and emergency lighting are throughout the building.
